Card Scanner reads business cards and saves the contact details to your iPhone and, if you choose, to your own Pipedrive account. This page explains what the app does with your information.
What stays on your device
Scanning happens entirely on your iPhone. The card photo, the recognized text, and the contact fields pulled from it are processed on-device and are never sent to us. When you save a contact, it goes into your iPhone Contacts. If you turn on iCloud, your scans and their photos sync through your own private iCloud account, which we cannot read.
What we store
When you sign in with Apple, our server stores a single identifier for your account and, if Apple shares it, your email address. That is the only information we hold, and we keep it so the same account can work across your devices and on a future web version of the app. We never receive your scans, your contacts, or your card photos.
Pipedrive
If you connect Pipedrive, you sign in through Pipedrive and the app sends the contact you choose to save to your own Pipedrive account. The connection tokens are kept in your device's Keychain. Your Pipedrive data belongs to you and is governed by Pipedrive's own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
In Settings, "Delete my data" removes your account identifier from our server. Contacts you already saved to your iPhone or to Pipedrive stay where they are; you can remove those from those apps directly.
